Well, after seeing the crazy bank fees our bank has been charging us, we are shopping for a new bank.
We've been with our current bank for 6 years and always just accepted the fees and charges and everything that went with them.
After an eye opener with them, we decided to say good bye! So now we are shopping for a new bank.
So I thought I'd write a post of things to keep in mind when looking for a new bank.
Yearly fees
Interest Rate on Savings
Is online banking available? What are the terms of this?
Is there an atm fee on non bank atm's? What is it? Is it refundable?
How many bank locations and atms are available in your area?
What are the check fees?
I was googling some tips and came across findabetterbank.com. It was pretty interesting and gave me two options I'm going to look into further.
Don't forget about credit unions as well.
Any tips for me?
Thanks!
