Tonsils be gone

Today I take my five year old son in for his pre opp appointment. He has to get his tonsils out this friday!

Since, I still have mine, I was doing some googling and came across the Dreyers tonsilectomy care package. I'm taking the paper with me today to have my doctor sign. I thought I'd post it incase any one else has a little one facing this surgery:

1 cheap meal Fridays - Easy Pasta Bake

This is one of my favorite quick meals! Very filling and it makes a ton. We always have leftovers! Best of all it's cheap!

Easy Pasta Bake

1 lb ground beef (on sale $1.99 lb at king soopers)

1 box noodles - any kind

1 cup mozzarella cheese

3 jars Spagehetti sauce

Directions:

Brown ground beef and drain. In a 9 x13 pan place half of spaghetti sauce then oodles and put on remaing sauce. Place meat on top of noodle mixture and cover with foil. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes. Put cheese on top to cover the whole pan and bake 10 minutes more until cheese is melted!
