The main drink at our house is plain and simple water. But because we have a serious hard water issue in our area, we have to buy our drinking water. This places me in a huge predicament. I stopped buying bottled water because of the impact the plastic bottles have on the environment.
I buy the gallon jugs and refill containers. I actually use a glass cup in my car. It’s not super convenient but it’s also not plastic.
I was recently approached by the PrimoWater Company to let my readers know about a new environmentally safe water bottle option. I checked out the website and watched some informative clips on You Tube and am excited to try them out.
Here is a paragraph from their press release: "Traditional water bottles are made from crude oil, a non-renewable resource. The Primo bottle is different from all other water bottles sold in the U.S.
You can find Primo Water in Kroger’s stores, this includes King Soopers, Freds, City Market etc. The 18 bottle package is selling for $4.99. (just $0.27 a bottle.)
As a special promotion for Grocery Mama’s readers, Primo Water is giving away 1 case each for 10 readers!
Just leave a comment and let me know where you just have to have your water with you.
Mine is the play dates at the park. The kiddos get running around and get super thirsty really fast!
Leave a comment here between June 9th and June 18th. Ten comments will be randomly chosen to receive the cases of primo water.
For more information on how their bottles are made check out the You Tube clips or their site at www.primowater.com.
